Today was the hardest day I have had in a long time but also one of the best to. My best friends wake was today it was hard to think of never seeing him again or go to a football game with him again. But as long as I remember him he is still alive in a way.

I have been waiting to see it in the paper and today it was there.

David Hicks 38, passed away September 12, 2009. He was born June 12, 1971 in Beech Grove, Indiana. He was most recently an employee of the Marion County Sheriff's Department as a 911 dispatcher. David is survived by his parents, Tommy and Patricia Hicks; sisters, Amy Hicks and Susan Phillips (Rick); nieces and nephews, Allie, Brandon, Chelsea, Daysha, Michael and Ricky and Godson, Jamison. Services have been entrusted to Jordan-Gray Funeral Home.

you Cry, laugh , Remember the good times you had together and cherish them and once in awhile when you see or hear something he would have liked or laughed at talk to him about it even if its in your heart. as long as you remember him and honor his memory he,ll never be completely forgotten.
